To work in RUFS, the student registers with his/her digital identity (e-mail address and password) which he/she also uses when joining AIPS.
After successful application, the student can use all installed software, AIPS system, prepare or design seminar, diploma and postgraduate theses, as well as send and receive e-mails and browse the Internet.
He/she can permanently store data files in the cloud at shramba.um.si. After finishing work, he/she needs to log out of the computer to save and protect his/her data.

The computer room is located in room B-206 and is open daily from 07:00 to 21:00. It is only available to students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FS), and entry is possible with a student card.
There are a total of 26 personal computers in the classroom. If necessary, the room can be divided into two smaller classrooms by lowering the curtain:
• in the front part there are 16 personal computers which during the lectures are intended mainly for guided exercises and seminars according to the schedule; to assist the tutor, there is also a projection device on the ceiling of the classroom which projects an image from the computer monitor onto a large screen;
• in the last part there are 10 personal computers which are freely accessible to all FS students for individual exercises, preparation of seminar and diploma theses and free internet browsing; if there are no exercises in the front of the classroom, all 26 computers are freely accessible.
